The Nurturing Touch

The Nurturing Touch provides breastfeeding and infant-care support to families in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Led by Kylie, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), the practice works with parents to develop a plan that supports a positive and successful breastfeeding experience. Its lactation consulting is intended to help families address feeding challenges and make informed decisions as they care for their newborns. Parents can book an initial consultation online, and the practice offers ongoing guidance and encouragement as they navigate breastfeeding.

The Nurturing Touch also provides infant massage instruction certified through the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM). The service introduces parents to massage techniques and highlights potential benefits such as physical comfort and a sense of security for babies, while making time for gentle interaction enjoyable. The website shares testimonials from parents who describe receiving practical support with breastfeeding, including feeding difficulties and caring for premature twins. Through lactation consulting, infant massage, and accessible appointment booking, The Nurturing Touch focuses on supporting mothers, babies, and parents during early family life.
