The Oak Room is a high-end American grill in historic Georgetown, Washington, DC, created by Ten Five Hospitality and Chef Tim Hollingsworth, formerly of The French Laundry. Set inside a Georgetown townhouse, its warmly lit interior combines oak paneling, brick vaulted ceilings and tufted leather, drawing inspiration from the private clubs of Gilded Age New York and London. The menu pairs familiar American favorites with refined French technique, featuring a raw bar and seafood towers, prime rib, dry-aged steaks, Dover sole with brown butter, roasted chicken, burgers and classic desserts such as ice cream sundaes.
Brunch offerings include French toast, omelets, Benedicts and steak and eggs. Guests can also explore The Garden, a hidden, open-air wine bar inspired by English walled gardens, serving wine, rosΓ© and spritzes from late spring through October. The Oak Room offers dinner nightly, weekend brunch and private events, with reservations available.
Chef Hollingsworth brings award-winning experience and a culinary style grounded in American flavors, seasonal ingredients and approachable cooking
