Theodora

Theodora Children's Charity has been spreading joy and laughter to children facing illness and serious health challenges for over 29 years. Their mission is to help children feel better through the power of laughter. They visit 22 hospitals and specialist care centers across England, as well as provide virtual support.

Theodora's specially trained performers, known as Giggle Doctors, make visits to children in clinical settings and through their Virtual Visit Program. The impact of their work is evident in the stories shared by parents about the positive effects of meeting a Giggle Doctor. The charity was founded in Switzerland in 1994 and expanded to the UK, where they first visited Great Ormond Street Hospital in April of the same year.

Since then, they have been creating magical moments for thousands of children receiving medical treatment through bedside visits and virtual interactions.
