The Oyster Bar Co

The Oyster Bar Co. is a mobile oyster bar serving Auckland, Wanaka and other parts of New Zealand on request. Its team brings fresh oysters and live shucking to weddings, corporate events, private parties and other gatherings, opening oysters in front of guests and serving them with lemon and house-made dressings.

Oysters are sourced from coastal waters around Kaipara, Clevedon and the Hauraki Gulf, the Bay of Islands, and Mahurangi. Events can choose from packages ranging from a one-hour service with 60 oysters to larger options with up to 240 oysters and three hours of live shucking. Packages may include the oyster bar, a house-made red wine mignonette, shuckers, ice, equipment and condiments. Three signature dressings are available: mignonette, dry vermouth and smoked whiskey.

The Oyster Bar Co. handles arrival, set-up, serving and pack-down, and can prepare custom quotes for larger crowds or tailored requirements. Prices cover Auckland and Wanaka within 20 kilometres of each city centre; travel fees may apply beyond those areas.
