The Park People & Denver Digs Trees

The Park People is a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is dedicated to working with communities to plant trees and improve parks for a healthy and resilient future. As Denver's oldest and primary city-wide park advocacy group, they have a passion for local parks, city trees, and shared community resources. They firmly believe that healthy parks contribute to the growth of healthy communities and are essential for the health, well-being, and sustainability of urban life.

To fulfill their mission, The Park People raises private funds for capital improvement projects of various sizes and offers several ongoing programs such as Denver Digs Trees, Mile High Tree Champions, TreeForce, and Park Legacy. Over the years, they have infused tens of millions of dollars into Denver's public spaces and have successfully planted more than 60,000 trees. They also collaborate closely with Denver's Department of Parks and Recreation to enhance the city's parks and recreation system.
