Hunter New England and Central Coast Primary Health Network (HNECC PHN) is a not-for-profit organization funded by the Commonwealth government. Our main goal is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the primary health care system. We aim to deliver innovative and locally relevant solutions that measurably improve the health outcomes of our communities.
While we do not directly provide services, we manage a range of service agreements with various organizations to deliver primary health care programs in areas of identified need. Our program areas include mental health, Aboriginal health, GP after-hours care, and Rural Primary Health Services (RPHS). With our vision of healthy people and healthy communities, we strive to put people and communities first, address health inequalities, and collaborate with others to ensure timely and appropriate health care.
Our vast region covers 130,000 square kilometers, encompassing 23 Local Government Areas and a population of 1. 2 million people. Join us in our mission to improve primary health care and create healthier communities
