About The Pittsburgh Study
The Pittsburgh Study is an alliance of citizen scientists, community advocates, practitioners, and researchers dedicated to ensuring the health and well-being of every child in the region. Their work focuses on child health equity, advocacy, and research, aiming to help children thrive and achieve their academic goals. Through collaboration and innovation, they create program advancements and drive advocacy efforts by sharing data to enhance child health and promote racial equity.
This community-partnered research initiative spans various age-based scientific collaboratives and committees, inviting neighbors to engage as Citizen Scientists. By addressing critical challenges facing youth, they accelerate the transformation of data into actionable solutions in real-time. With a vision for inclusivity and respect, The Pittsburgh Study fosters relationships across fields and neighborhoods, working together to reduce barriers to healthy and equitable growth for all children
