The Platt’s Patch

The Platt’s Patch is a farm-based animal rescue and sanctuary founded in December 2024, bringing together animal care, family activities, and community connection. Its mission is to provide a safe, loving home for animals affected by neglect, abandonment, or hardship, while creating a welcoming place where visitors can enjoy the simple pleasures of farm life. The sanctuary’s rescued animals receive daily care, proper nutrition, and space to thrive.

The organization invites community support through donations for feed, veterinary treatment, medications, and essential improvements such as fencing, barns, and shelters. Visitors can also sponsor an animal; monthly sponsors receive a personalized certificate, an animal photo, and quarterly sanctuary updates. The Platt’s Patch is a 100% volunteer-run rescue, and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Through Platt’s Patch Mercantile, the brand offers handmade cottage goods, farm-inspired gifts, and cozy apparel, with purchases supporting animal care. The sanctuary also plans to host its annual family fall festival, opening in October 2026.
