About Click To Pray
The Pope Video is an official global initiative developed by the Pope's Worldwide Prayer Network, also known as the Apostleship of Prayer. This Pontifical Society's mission is to mobilize Catholics through prayer and action to address the challenges facing humanity and the Church. The initiative aims to disseminate the Holy Father's monthly intentions, which are prayer requests entrusted by the Pope to the entire Church.
Founded in 1844, the Pope's Worldwide Prayer Network operates in 89 countries and boasts a membership of over 22 million Catholics. It includes a youth branch called the Eucharistic Youth Movement (EYM). In December 2020, the Pope established this Pontifical Society as a Vatican Foundation and approved its new statutes.
The Pope Video project is supported by Vatican Media and offers videos related to different themes each month. These videos, available on the organization's website, including past years' videos, aim to spread the Pope's message to a global audience.
