About The Potter's House
The Potter’s House is a non-denominational, multicultural church located in Dallas, Texas. Led by Bishop T. D.
Jakes, this influential church has over 30,000 members attending on campus, with thousands more tuning in online. Founded in 1996, The Potter’s House operates as a non-profit organization and has expanded to additional sites in Frisco, Fort Worth, and Denver to accommodate its accelerated growth and shifting demographics. At The Potter’s House, their mission is to extend a helping hand to the needy, offer compassion to the hurting, and empower the disenfranchised.
The church is deeply rooted in both the local and global communities, and it offers numerous programs and ministries to cater to a diverse range of needs. With 59 different ministries, including GED/literacy programs, AIDS outreach, homeless outreach, male mentorship, and a debutante program, The Potter’s House brings together individuals from all walks of life to worship and serve together. Notably, the church has one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing prison ministries.
