Professional Pilots of Tomorrow

Professional Pilots of Tomorrow (PPOT) is a registered nonprofit dedicated to helping aspiring aviators make informed decisions and build successful careers in professional aviation. Its “pilots supporting pilots” approach connects people in training with experienced industry professionals through personalized mentorship, practical resources, and a broad peer network. Members can be paired one-on-one with trained pilot mentors who offer guidance, encouragement, and firsthand insight into the steps involved in pursuing a flying career.

PPOT also provides pilot-focused resources, including information about airlines, low-time flying opportunities, and specialized career guides. Members can connect with more than 1,000 professional pilots and pilots in training, representing nearly every Part 121 airline as well as charter and corporate operators. Additional offerings include industry discounts and partnerships, a job board, scholarships, networking opportunities, and volunteer roles. Membership is free for mentees, mentors, and supporters, and the organization is funded by donations. PPOT’s community is designed to support pilots throughout their training and beyond, while helping experienced aviators pass on their knowledge to the next generation.
