The Prospect Times

The Prospect Times is a news and information resource focused on the Texas Rangers farm system, covering prospects and minor league affiliates from Triple-A Round Rock through the Dominican Summer League. Its reporting includes player analysis, prospect rankings, team updates, game stories, and developments such as promotions, assignments, injuries, signings, and trades. Coverage also follows Rangers prospects in the Arizona Fall League and other winter leagues, with trackers that help readers monitor their performance and transactions throughout the season.

The site offers free membership features, including transaction tracking, hitting and on-base streaks, and AFL and winter league updates. Paid membership, available for $3 a month or $30 a year, adds player cards with trends, splits, and Statcast data where available, a personalized follow list, and sortable farm leader statistics. The Prospect Times also provides farm standings, affiliate results, and curated editorial selections. Alongside its core Rangers coverage, the publication features news about Banana Ball teams, schedules, events, and players, particularly those connected with Texas and Frisco.
