About The Rain Workers
THE RAIN WORKERS is dedicated to empowering women through education on sexual and reproductive health, family planning, and HIV/AIDS prevention, as well as raising awareness about female genital mutilation (FGM). Our organization, formerly known as 'AKTION REGEN,' has been active in various African countries since 1989.
We train local experts known as RAIN WORKERS to educate communities on the importance of informed decision-making regarding sexual behavior, family planning, contraception, and reproductive health rights. Through our comprehensive educational program 'Knowledge as a Chance,' we aim to empower women to take control of their bodies and make informed choices.
By spreading knowledge and advocating for women's rights, we strive to reduce poverty, increase access to education, and improve overall well-being in communities. Join us in our mission to let women rise and create a world where women can make decisions about their bodies and futures.
