Therapy? is a renowned band that originated in Northern Ireland in 1989. Founded by Andy Cairns and Fyfe Ewing, the band was inspired by a wide range of musical influences, including Sonic Youth, Hüsker Dü, Fugazi, and John Zorn. With Andy on guitar and vocals, Fyfe on drums and vocals, and the addition of bass player Michael McKeegan, Therapy? started crafting their unique sound.

They began their journey by recording demos and releasing their first single, Meat Abstract, followed by their debut album, Babyteeth, which topped the charts in both the UK and Ireland. The success continued with their second album, Pleasure Death, reaching number one on the UK Indie Charts. Signing with major label A&M Records, Therapy? released Nurse, which entered the UK Top 40 Album Chart, and their single Teethgrinder reached number 30.

The band gained international recognition, touring extensively in Europe and the US. Their album Troublegum became a commercial and critical success, featuring hits like Screamager and Nowhere.
