The Rinx

The Rinx is a family-focused recreation organization offering activities and services for people of all ages across locations in Hauppauge, Bethpage, Port Jefferson, and Wyandanch, New York. Its Hauppauge facilities include two full-size indoor ice rinks, where visitors can enjoy public skating, learn-to-skate programs, figure skating, hockey, private lessons, synchronized skating, clinics, leagues, camps, and recreational hockey. Skate sharpening and a pro shop are also available.

The Rinx provides birthday parties and private rentals, with swimming at an Olympic-size pool, a diving pool, and a children’s pool. Families can also access preschool and day-care services through the Rinx Preschool Academy, as well as Hidden Pond Day Camp, an accredited summer camp located at Hidden Pond Park. Corporate picnics are offered beside the pools.

Programs vary by location: Bethpage offers skating, figure skating, and hockey; Port Jefferson adds public skating, parties, and private lessons; and Wyandanch offers public skating and learn-to-skate programs.
