About The Rise Foundation
The RISE Foundation is a registered charity founded in 2009 by Senator Frances Black with the aim of breaking the cycle of addiction and supporting families impacted by addictive behavior. The foundation's mission is to free Ireland from its unhealthy relationship with alcohol and drugs through cultural change. They provide awareness, education, therapy, and support to families affected by a loved one's addictive behavior, helping them overcome shame and stigma.
The foundation offers a variety of services, including one-to-one counseling and group educational and therapeutic sessions for family members. Their 10-week program provides a unique recovery experience and helps family members understand addiction and its impact on relationships. Programs are run by a team of experienced counselors who bring compassion and expertise to their work.
