THERMOLITE® is a warming-fiber and insulation brand from The LYCRA Company. Launched in 1986, it develops lightweight technologies designed to add warmth and comfort to clothing and outdoor gear. Its portfolio includes fibers for year-round comfort and everyday garments, as well as insulation products for apparel and equipment.
Products include THERMOLITE® EcoMade fiber, made with 100% recycled resources; ALL SEASON fiber, made with 100% recycled polyester; and infrared and far-infrared fibers for warmth in garments and footwear. Insulation options include EcoMade blown-in insulation, T-DOWN EcoMade as a blown-in alternative to down, and T3 batting made with at least 35% recycled resources. The company says more than 80% of THERMOLITE® products have been transformed into recycled-polyester versions while retaining the performance of the original fibers.
THERMOLITE® supports product sourcing, marketing, and technical needs, and offers fabric certification, hang tags, and mill showroom tools through the LYCRA ONE™ portal. Its technologies are used by apparel brands and mills in products including coats, base layers, sweaters, and high-visibility clothing.
