About The Rogue Marathon
The Rogue Marathon is a Southern Oregon running event held in the scenic Rogue Valley, with a point-to-point course following the Bear Creek Greenway from Ashland to Medford. Promoted as Oregon’s fastest Boston Marathon qualifier, the race features a downhill route designed to appeal to runners seeking a personal best, as well as a welcoming atmosphere for participants and spectators. The event offers several distances: a full marathon, half marathon, 10K, children’s one-mile run, and a one-mile option for participants aged 65 and older.
Race-day experiences include a finisher’s party, custom shirts, finisher’s medals, and family-friendly activities. The Rogue Marathon also shares race information, course maps, travel details, results, photos, and volunteer opportunities through its website. Its community focus is reflected in local sponsorships and charitable initiatives, including a Kids Mile benefiting The Volt Foundation.
Organized by Rogue Events Collective, the annual event brings runners of varied ages and abilities together for a fall celebration of racing and Southern Oregon community life
