About The RRC
The RRC is the national expert advice centre for best practice river restoration, habitat enhancement, and catchment management. With a mission to champion the natural and societal benefits of restoring river systems, they provide a focal point for the exchange and dissemination of information and expertise. The Centre offers advice on site-specific technical issues through a core team of experienced staff and a network of experienced river restoration practitioners.
RRC's activities revolve around three core areas: Knowledge Exchange, Technical Advice and Assessment, and Training and Guidance. They develop and provide resources, courses, and practical learning opportunities to the growing UK restoration network. As an independent and impartial organization, the RRC has been actively raising the profile of river restoration since 1997.
They do not bid or compete for work against consultants or contractors, instead supporting their efforts by providing expert advice and support
