The Runaway Brewery is an independently owned brewery based in central Stockport, Manchester, where its team hand-brews modern British beer in small batches. Guided by a focus on flavour and quality, the brewery respects traditional brewing while creating contemporary beers influenced by styles, places, eras and ingredients from around the world. Its range includes hop-forward pale ales and IPAs, malt-driven brown ales and porters, yeast-led Saisons, sour beers, dark beers and seasonal specials. The beers are unfiltered and unpasteurised, with most naturally conditioned by yeast in keg and bottle.
Customers can shop online for bottles, full or half cases, barrel-aged and blended beers, merchandise and gift cards, with nationwide delivery or free brewery collection. The Stockport site also offers a taproom, beer garden and bottle shop. Visitors can join brewer-led tours to learn about the brewing process and enjoy a guided tasting of four beers. The taproom is open Thursday to Sunday, while the bottle shop also operates on weekdays.
