The Shrimp Tank

The Shrimp Tank is a US-based retailer specializing in freshwater invertebrates and aquarium supplies, supporting shrimp hobbyists since 2008. The company describes itself as the oldest provider of freshwater invertebrates in the United States and offers shrimp products from around the world. Its livestock includes Caridina and Neocaridina dwarf shrimp, aquatic plants, and freshwater snails, with species such as Cherry, Amano, Tiger, Crystal Red, and Blue Diamond shrimp, as well as Malaysian Trumpet, Ramshorn, and Spixi snails.

The store also carries a broad range of products for aquarium care and shrimp keeping. These include everyday, mineral, high-protein, and color-enhancing foods; water conditioners and GH, KH, and pH adjusters; breeding, vitamin, and health aids; and disease and pest control products. Hobbyists can also find hardware, shipping supplies, magazines, and natural materials such as driftwood, leaves, pods, and cones that can provide surfaces for biofilm and release tannins. The Shrimp Tank publishes educational articles and species guides, including information on feeding, compatibility, and shipping shrimp, and provides shipping, returns, and a live-arrival guarantee.
