About The Solutions Project
The Solutions Project is a national non-profit organization dedicated to tackling climate justice. We fund and amplify climate justice solutions created by frontline communities, who are at the forefront of building power for an equitable and regenerative economy. Our approach to grantmaking is centered on equity and justice, practicing Solidarity Philanthropy.
Since 2015, we have invested over $31M in grants to over 280 grantees, with a focus on supporting women of color-led initiatives. In addition to financial support, we provide training and resources to our grantees, such as media literacy, storytelling, and networking opportunities. We have invested nearly $7M in communications support, aiming to shift the narrative and amplify the influence of frontline justice groups.
Our grantee partners are working across various sectors, including energy, health, land, water, labor, housing, and food systems, to create solutions that build the foundation for a regenerative economy.
