About The Sounds Project
The Sounds Project is a brand that embodies the principle of Where The Dreamers Go. It serves as a home for young individuals who dare to dream and bring their creative visions to life, regardless of any obstacles. This platform provides a learning space for aspiring individuals to become the best versions of themselves by working hard to create festivals with perfect concepts, delivery, and execution.
The journey of The Sounds Project began in 2015 when four young individuals from one university had a dream of creating a music platform based on campus-communities that could be universally accepted by the public and music lovers. With nothing but passion and determination, they initiated small gigs and medium-scale events locally. Over time, The Sounds Project continued to grow and is now managed by its founders after graduating from university.
After numerous trial-and-error events, The Sounds Project has evolved into a music collective known among enthusiasts as a consistent concert organizer in the Jakarta and Depok areas. Now entering its sixth year, The Sounds Project has become a national music platform that showcases dozens of local and international bands in a unified festival. It serves as a benchmark and source of inspiration, triggering the emergence of various alternative festivals initiated by young individuals.
The Sounds Project believes that it represents a festival owned by everyone including the community, musicians, sponsors, vendors, and other stakeholders. Most importantly, it belongs to all the audience members who attend. Upholding the principle of Where The Dreamers Go, The Sounds Project will continue to be a haven for young individuals who fearlessly pursue their dreams and bring their creative works to life, overcoming any obstacles.
It is a place where they can learn to become the best versions of themselves through real work in creating festivals with impeccable concepts, delivery, and execution
