About The Story Exchange
The Story Exchange is a global video project and award-winning nonprofit media organization dedicated to empowering women in business. Founded in 2011, our mission is to provide inspiration, advice, and resources to entrepreneurial women everywhere. Through our videos, articles, and podcast, we strive to elevate women's voices and contribute to their economic independence.
Our team of experienced professionals includes Victoria Wang, a former banker and marketing consultant; Sue Williams, a documentary filmmaker; Colleen DeBaise, an executive editor; and Candice Helfand-Rogers and Kate Brennan, both talented reporters. Together, we have partnered with renowned publications such as The New York Times, Inc., Forbes, CNBC, and Fast Company to expand our reach. Recognized for our outstanding work, we have received Front Page Awards, a Best in Business award, Webby nominations, and a Gerald Loeb Award nomination.
In 2021, we also launched the Women In Science Incentive Prize to support innovative female scientists addressing climate change.
