The Sudsy Snout

The Sudsy Snout is a locally owned, self-serve dog wash serving Rochester’s South Wedge. Designed by dog lovers for dog lovers, it offers an easy, affordable way to bathe your dog without leaving a wet bathroom or clogged drain at home. Walk-ins are welcome, so no appointment is needed.

The waist-high washing station is designed for comfort and safety, with non-slip tubs, secure leads, and warm, temperature-controlled water. Wash supplies include professional-grade, dye-, paraben-, and cruelty-free products, along with brushes, fluffy towels, and high-velocity dryers. Customers can pay at the station: a wash costs $18 for 15 minutes, with three additional minutes available for $3.

The straightforward process lets pet owners wash and dry their dogs using the provided sprayer, shampoos, and grooming tools. The Sudsy Snout also hosts pet photography events with Roc Pet Portraits, including seasonal and themed photo shoots. Its service helps local dog owners leave with a clean, freshly dried pup, without handling the cleanup at home
