The Terrarium is a plant retailer specializing in tropical houseplants, terrarium supplies, and creative plant experiences. Its online shop offers live plants across a broad range of varieties, including Alocasia, Anthurium, Begonia, Calathea, Hoya, Monstera, Philodendron, Pothos, and Syngonium. The selection includes rare and variegated specimens, mature plants, rooted cuttings, and smaller plants suited to terrariums and fairy gardens.
Customers can also shop complete DIY terrarium kits in several designs, such as The Block, The Mini Tower, The Purse, The Fishbowl, and The Jar, as well as bundles of miniature plants. The brand promotes workshops and memorable plant-focused experiences, and its website lists corporate events among its offerings. The Terrarium previously operated a modern retail store, lounge, and private event space in downtown Ferndale, Michigan; the physical location has since closed.
It now serves customers online and says it ships plants nationwide. The site also provides plant-care information, gift cards, a rewards program, and customer contact options
