The Trip Fantastic is an English-language improv comedy group based in the Netherlands, established in 2024 and performing in Groningen. The group presents free, unscripted shows every two weeks on Thursday nights at O’Ceallaigh Irish Pub. Each performance is created in the moment, with audience suggestions helping shape the comedy, so no two shows follow the same script.
Known for a high-energy, fast-moving style, The Trip Fantastic brings together a rotating cast of improv veterans and new performers. Its listed cast includes Naomi de Ruiter, Tom Wilcox, Thomas Mook, Yağmur Erten, Geert Broekmann, Thomas van Halteren, Frederick ter Haar, Manuel Lentz, and Monty Slater. The group’s shows offer an informal night out for English-speaking audiences and internationals, with drinks available at the pub. Admission is free, and visitors are encouraged to arrive early to find a good seat. The Trip Fantastic also shares show information and updates through its website and Instagram, and welcomes inquiries by email.
