True Dukes is a French amateur rally team formed by friends Lionel, Fred and Anaïs for the 2021 Budapest Rallye. Inspired by the television series theme, the trio adopted the name and look of the Duke family from The Dukes of Hazzard, styling their 1995 BMW 525 TDS as a playful nod to the famous General Lee. Their adventure combined a week-long European road trip with checkpoints, team challenges and vehicle-themed competition.

The team shared its story and rally preparations through its website and social media, inviting supporters to follow the journey and contribute to its fundraising effort, the True Cagnotte. In return, supporters could receive small keepsakes such as stickers, postcards from Budapest and T-shirts. The team pledged to donate all funds raised through the collection to the Association Loïc Laval, which supports the memory of Loïc Laval and contributes to Les Blouses Roses, an organization that accompanies sick children. True Dukes brings together light-hearted motoring enthusiasm, friendship and a charitable cause.
