About The Verb Kind
The VERB Kind Inc is a brand dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of incarcerated teens and at-risk youth in the state of Florida. Their vision is to create a movement that empowers and inspires people from all walks of life to live life to the fullest by giving back to their community as mentors in Juvenile Detention Centers. VERB partners with individuals by providing mentors to at-risk teens who are currently locked up.
Their venture began with a small group of people who spent time with the kids in the Orlando Juvenile Detention Center every Monday night. Their influence resulted in positive behavior, attitude, and hope among the children. VERB aims to multiply their accomplishments in Orlando throughout Florida and other states.
They vow to empower volunteers through training and coaching, bridge the gap in society, share the impact they are making, highlight the needs of juveniles in Juvenile Justice Centers, and advocate for the staff in all DJJ centers. By spending time and serving, VERB is making a real difference in the lives of these children and the staff at each location. The impact on volunteers is also profound and inexplicable.
