The Worm Haus

The Worm Haus is an educational and product resource focused on earthworms, vermicomposting, and recycling organic waste. Its mission is to help people understand how worms support healthy soil, improve garden yields, and turn household organic materials into a renewable resource. The site encourages individuals to start composting at home, explaining how a worm bin can transform suitable household waste into vermicast, a natural soil amendment for gardens, lawns, and houseplants.

The Worm Haus offers red wiggler worms and worm-related products, including fishing bait and tackle. Its earth-friendly product range includes Garden’s Gold, Nature’s Gold, Texas Tea, Triple Crown Compost, and Vermi-Gro. Educational resources cover basic earthworm facts, vermicomposting, using worms as bait, and instructions for building a worm bin or worm tower. The site also features children’s learning materials, including Charlie the Composter, along with a coloring book and links to additional resources. By combining practical guidance, educational content, and gardening products, The Worm Haus presents backyard composting as an accessible way to recycle organic waste and support healthier soil.
