About The Young Maker
The Young Maker is a brand based in Singapore that provides exciting opportunities for students to learn and explore coding and urban farming. They offer Coding & Urban Farming tours in collaboration with Just Produce, where students can witness the urban farm in action. At the farm, crops are grown in mineralized, pesticide-free, and controlled environments.
During the tour, students also get to use Micro:bit to measure the nutrients level in the water. The highlight of the experience is the chance to harvest and taste the fruits of their labor. In addition to the tours, The Young Maker offers a range of classes, including a special Python programming class for chatbot creation.
