Thierry Ducret is an independent watchmaker dedicated to the art of timepieces since 1996. With a passion for teaching, Thierry has trained countless watchmaking artists who have gone on to work in prestigious workshops worldwide. In recognition of his excellence and knowledge, Thierry was named one of the Best Craftsmen of France in 2007, winning a horology competition with a meticulously crafted pocket watch.

Driven by his love for technique and creativity, Thierry embarked on an extraordinary project in 2017. After more than two years of hard work and meticulous craftsmanship, he proudly presents the first artisanal creation under the Thierry Ducret brand. The initial model is truly unique, already engraved and limited to just ten pieces.

However, the final quantity has not been decided due to the meticulous attention to detail and dedication required. Every component of the timepiece, from the lever and spring to the balance and waterproof stainless steel box, was meticulously manufactured by Thierry himself at his workshop in Flangebouche. Only a few gear wheels were sourced from outside the region, showcasing the brand's commitment to local craftsmanship.

The standout feature of the watch is its precise central axis, which ingeniously combines both a barrel spring and time display. This intricate construction showcases Thierry's expertise and innovation. Using high-quality materials such as steel, stainless steel, brass, and nickel silver, Thierry creates timepieces that not only showcase impeccable craftsmanship but also tell a story.

The alligator strap is custom-made by a luxury leather goods company located nearby, while the glass is manufactured in Morteau. Thierry Ducret's dedication to watchmaking extends beyond his own creations. As a teacher at Morteau Highschool, Thierry has imparted his knowledge to aspiring watchmaking artists, who have gone on to work in renowned workshops in France, Switzerland, and around the world.
