Thinking Candy

Thinking Candy provides maths tuition for students in Edinburgh and the Lothians. Founded by Kevin and Elizabeth Smith, the organisation is led by two General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) registered teachers with extensive experience in Scottish education. Kevin has taught mathematics in Scottish schools since 2006, and Elizabeth since 2008; together, they bring 17 years of experience to their work.

Thinking Candy offers online support for students across all secondary-school levels of mathematical study. Its services are designed to help learners build confidence, knowledge and understanding, whatever their current stage. The organisation has also offered block-based study sessions during the school year, from October through to the May exams, including support for National 5 and Higher students.
