About Third Culture Minds
Third Culture Minds is a brand dedicated to advancing positive mental health and wellbeing outcomes for ethnic youth in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Our vision is to help every young person unlock their full potential by providing them with access to the services they need, free from discrimination and stigma. We recognize that third culture kids, young Kiwis with migrant and refugee backgrounds, often experience disproportionately poorer mental health outcomes.
To address this, we advocate for their needs and engage directly with the community through workshops and storytelling. We believe in the power of sharing personal experiences to connect and empower young people. As part of our efforts, we have also created a documentary series in partnership with Re: and the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand, exploring the unique experiences and challenges of third culture kids.
To support our cause and ensure every young person in New Zealand can access culturally appropriate mental health support, you can donate to Third Culture Minds. Join our community and connect with other third culture kids who share similar experiences. Together, we can make a difference
