Third Sector Renewables

Third Sector Renewables (TSR) is a charitable association focused on helping communities respond to climate change and environmental degradation. Its mission combines public education on renewable energy and conservation with community-led action, biodiversity, and mental well-being. TSR delivers educational programmes, workshops, outreach events, and practical projects that encourage sustainable living and help people engage with local environments.

Its work spans nature restoration, climate action, creative arts, and renewable energy education. Current and past initiatives include neighbourhood nature walks, river and park clean-ups, pollinator planting, habitat restoration, eco-art residencies, and activities designed to ease eco-anxiety. TSR also uses emerging technologies and digital tools, including the Places by EcoGPX® app, to document community projects. Earlier programmes have demonstrated renewable energy through cycle-powered electricity generation and supported young people’s well-being through movement and arts activities.

Working with community groups, artists, charities, and other partners, TSR has delivered projects across the UK, including Coventry, Warwickshire, London, and Yorkshire. The organisation reports raising more than £80,000, completing over 20 projects, and impacting 7,500 lives.
