About Jamie Rhodes
Jamie Rhodes is a writer, director, lecturer and storyteller whose work explores the ways stories connect history, nature and creativity. An Eisner Award-nominated creator for the graphic novel A Castle in England, he works across books, comics, short films and academic research. His featured projects include the short film Amputee, the short story collection Dead Men’s Teeth, and Elämänmäki: The Hill of Life, a graphic novel project. His upcoming book, Plant Stories, brings together interests in storytelling and the natural world.
Rhodes lectures in Creative Writing at University College London and is pursuing a PhD in Creative Writing and Philosophy. His research examines how stories engage readers and how writers can create deeper narrative immersion. Drawing on his creative and academic experience, he offers personalised writing tutoring, consultancy, thought leadership and courses, including Finding Your Unique Story. His guidance is designed for writers at different stages who want to develop their ideas and refine their craft.
