Thomas' American Bakery

Thomas’ American Bakery is a small bakery based in Vuosaari, Helsinki, founded by an American expat who wanted to share the familiar desserts of his home country. Its baked goods are handmade, vegan and prepared to order, bringing American-style treats to customers in Helsinki.

The menu includes brookies, combining chewy brownies with firm cookies, and classic chocolate chip cookies. Customers can also order chocolate chip banana bread or a whole-wheat banana bread sweetened with fruit. For celebrations, the bakery offers double chocolate chip cupcakes topped with vegan vanilla buttercream, as well as a full-size chocolate chip cake. Custom orders are welcome, though writing and decorations are not available for the chocolate cake.

Orders must be placed at least one week in advance through the bakery’s order form. Customers can choose pickup or local delivery; delivery is available within the stated area near the metro line for an additional charge. The bakery can answer questions about ingredients and allergens, and accepts online bank, mobile and card payments.
