Thomp2 Socks is a family-run sock brand founded in honour of Thomas Barry, with a mission to promote inclusion, create employment opportunities for people with Down syndrome, and give back to the community. Its socks are made from 85% organic cotton and combine comfort with colourful, playful designs. The range includes men’s, women’s and children’s socks, as well as wide-fitting styles, running socks, Christmas designs, bundles and awareness socks.
Customers can also shop themed products, including Brennan’s Bread, Poolbeg Lighthouse and Phoenix Park designs, or choose greeting cards and a monthly sock subscription featuring new designs. Thomp2 Socks donates 5% of its profits to charity. It also creates special fundraising products: proceeds from its limited-edition Lung Fibrosis Awareness Socks support the Irish Lung Fibrosis Association, while €10 from each Retro DS Awareness Jersey sold goes to St John of God.
