Thompson Construction is a Lake Minnetonka-area home builder and remodeler serving families throughout the West Metro of Minnesota. The company specializes in custom homes and high-end architectural remodeling, helping homeowners transform properties that no longer suit their needs. Its projects address challenges such as impractical layouts, outdated or dark interiors, limited storage, and deteriorating materials, with designs shaped around each family’s lifestyle.

Thompson Construction guides clients through a four-step process: discussing their vision, developing drawings and a detailed plan, agreeing on project specifications and a fixed price and timeline, and completing the construction. The team also manages practical requirements such as building permits and keeps clients informed during the work. Projects receive a thorough cleanup and inspection, and completed work is warrantied.

The company’s featured work includes custom homes, kitchen remodels, and main-level renovations in communities such as Shorewood and Plymouth. Homeowners can request a remodel pricing guide to help plan a project. Thompson Construction is based in Independence, Minnesota, and holds Minnesota Builders License BC686985.
