Glen Thompson

Thompson Racing is a boutique thoroughbred training stable led by Glen Thompson, based at Flemington Racecourse. Born into a respected Australian racing family, Glen is the son of premiership-winning trainer Vic Thompson and has built experience working with leading trainers in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Singapore. Combining traditional horsemanship with a modern, ambitious approach, he emphasizes hands-on care, attention to detail and clear communication with owners.

The stable has already achieved Group 1 success and offers ownership opportunities in a selection of young racehorses, with details including pedigrees and purchase prices provided for available horses. Thompson Racing also arranges racehorse spelling and pre-training at facilities on the Mornington Peninsula and in Central Victoria, where horses receive space, monitoring and preparation for their return to training. Daily specialist support includes farriers, equine dentists, physiotherapists, chiropractors and veterinary care.

The team also highlights thoughtful retirement arrangements, with many horses returning to paddocks in Mornington
