Ontario Minor Hockey

Thornton Minor Hockey is a community hockey organization serving players and families through youth programming, team participation, and season-long support. Its teams span age groups from U5 and U7 through U18, with additional select teams and development opportunities. The organization’s website helps families follow the season, with team pages, game schedules and results, practice information, venue details, and a mobile app for scores, statistics, and schedules.

Thornton Minor Hockey also provides information and resources for registering children, creating a Spordle account, understanding fees and refunds, and finding financial assistance. Coaches, managers, trainers, and volunteers can access role-specific resources, including coaching and training materials, forms, and Hockey Canada’s Shift Forward course for parents of rostered players. The site also shares tournament information, travel permit procedures, exhibition game guidance, and team finder tools. Its organization resources include a mission and vision, code of conduct, risk documents, and Safe Sport information. Through these services, Thornton Minor Hockey supports participation and communication among players, families, team officials, and volunteers.
