Thoroughbred Market is a dedicated platform for horse racing enthusiasts, providing valuable information on the buying and selling of thoroughbred horses. Founded in 2019 by Yuya Yashiro, who has over 20 years of experience in the field, the site offers comprehensive sales listings, auction details, and industry news to facilitate smooth transactions for buyers and sellers alike.
Located in Atsuma, Hokkaido, Thoroughbred Market aims to support the horse breeding industry by highlighting the unique characteristics and selling points of each horse, enhancing visibility and stimulating demand. Amidst a decline in production farms and the aging of breeders, this platform seeks to increase the likelihood of successful placements for retired racehorses, ensuring they find new paths.
By engaging with a community of racing fans and industry stakeholders, Thoroughbred Market aspires to contribute to the growth and sustainability of horse racing in Japan, while nurturing a passion for the sport and its celebrated athletes.
