Thousand Hills Large Animal Crematorium & Memorial

Thousand Hills is a veteran-owned and operated equine and large-animal crematory based in western Pennsylvania. It serves families across Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, Maryland, and New York, helping them arrange respectful care after the loss of a beloved animal. The organization recognizes that horses and other pets are companions and family members, and that grief can make practical decisions especially difficult. Its mission is to provide compassionate, professional, and affordable service during this time.

Thousand Hills offers cremation services for horses and other large animals, treating each animal with the respect and dignity it deserves in life and in death. The company’s approach is grounded in the belief, expressed through Psalm 50:10, that creatures are entrusted to people for care. Its website also shares memorial imagery and “The Rainbow Bridge for Horses,” a poem about the hope of reunion between people and their animals. Families can contact Thousand Hills by phone for assistance and find updates through its Facebook page.
