ThreadsMate is a web-based tool for downloading publicly available videos, photos, and GIFs from Threads. Users copy a post’s link, paste it into the downloader, and choose from the available download options. The service is designed to work in a browser without requiring extensions or additional installation, and is presented as free with unlimited downloads.

ThreadsMate supports use on computers, tablets, and mobile devices, including Android phones and iPhones. For videos, it offers quality options that may include HD and 4K, depending on availability, and describes MP4 as a supported format; its site also lists AVI and other formats. The website provides step-by-step instructions and guidance for saving content on different devices, alongside separate tools such as Threads photo, GIF, MP3, and private downloader pages. However, downloads are limited to content from public Threads accounts; private videos are not supported. ThreadsMate states that it does not store user data or copies of downloaded videos and clarifies that it is not affiliated with Threads or Meta Platforms.
