Three Rivers Gem & Mineral Society is a family-oriented club in Indiana that welcomes visitors and people at every stage of interest in rocks, minerals, and fossils. Whether members are experienced geologists or newcomers, the society offers a community for learning and sharing enthusiasm for the natural world. Its activities include educational programs, field trips, an annual show, and opportunities to explore lapidary, jewelry, and related interests.
The club also has a junior program, where young members meet during the adult business meeting before joining the adults for the club program when appropriate. Parents are welcome to observe, and children aged six or younger must be accompanied at junior meetings by an adult relative. Meetings are held at Ivy Tech North in Fort Wayne, at the Keith E.
Busse Technology Center. The society is affiliated with both the Midwest Federation of Mineralogical Societies and the American Federation of Mineralogical Societies, connecting it with broader communities of mineral enthusiasts
