Thrive Conservation | Badung is a women-led not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting young Indonesians in addressing overlooked environmental issues on land and in the ocean. Our mission is to empower an emerging cohort of Indonesian conservationists and increase the reach and effectiveness of conservation across Indonesia. Despite large-scale conservation initiatives, significant gaps remain in conservation efforts across Indonesia.

These areas are often overlooked due to their remote locations, lack of obvious conservation draw, and the shortage of conservation capacity and funding. However, these areas are home to important habitats and species, and the livelihoods of local people are negatively impacted by the depletion of critical natural resources. Thrive Conservation sees an opportunity to bridge this gap by empowering passionate young Indonesian conservationists to develop and lead local conservation projects.

We believe in providing job opportunities and support for these skilled individuals, enabling them to make meaningful changes on the ground. Our experience has shown that when connected with projects, these young leaders thrive and contribute to the preservation of their environment. Founded in 2020, Thrive Conservation is committed to nurturing the future of our planet and ensuring a sustainable future for Indonesia.
