Thrive Yard Studio is a Los Angeles-based landscape design studio creating water-wise gardens from California native plants. Led by Michelle, a certified permaculture designer, the studio helps homeowners replace thirsty lawns with attractive, low-maintenance landscapes suited to local conditions. Its approach considers how sunlight, water, wind, and soil shape each yard, while supporting pollinators and other local wildlife.

Services include professional 2D landscape drawings, plant selection and grouping, hardscape and topographic design, and site analysis for sun, water, and wind. Thrive Yard Studio also offers soil health planning, food forest and vegetable garden design, pollinator ecosystem strategies, rainwater collection, and composting and waste planning. The studio supports clients in exploring relevant county and city rebates and incentives for sustainable landscaping.

Thrive Yard Studio serves Los Angeles and surrounding areas, guiding homeowners through the design process, including those unsure where to begin. Its goal is to create living landscapes that connect people with their environment and community, while reducing water use and ongoing maintenance once established.
