Through the Uprights

The North State Kicking Co., also known as Through the Uprights, provides football kicking and punting training for youth, high school, and college students. Led by coach Abel Hernandez, the program focuses on helping athletes develop their technique, refine their kicking form, and work toward their individual goals. Training is arranged after a service is purchased, with the date, time, and location determined afterward. Prospective clients can contact the coach through the website with questions.

Testimonials from athletes describe coaching that includes detailed feedback, encouragement, and support in building confidence and pursuing ambitions. Players also credit Hernandez with adapting instruction to their kicking styles and helping them progress through high school and college football. The site presents training as both skill-focused and personal, with an emphasis on dedication, improvement, and understanding each kicker’s perspective. In addition to kicking, testimonials mention coaching on punting and broader football knowledge. The North State Kicking Co. serves athletes at multiple stages of development, from youth players beginning their training to college kickers seeking continued refinement.
