Thomas Hinds Tobacconist is a Winnipeg-based retailer offering cigars, pipes, tobacco, and lifestyle accessories. Since 1991, the business has focused on quality products and personal customer service. Its selection includes Cuban and non-Cuban cigars, private-label and Thomas Hinds cigars, cigarillos, herbal cigarettes, loose tobacco, snus, pipes, and pipe accessories. Customers can also shop for cutters, ashtrays, humidors, lighters, and merchandise, alongside items for coffee, golf, grooming, shaving, and fragrance.
The store presents cigars from both traditional Old World producers and newer New World regions, with products reflecting a range of origins and approaches to blending. In addition to retail shopping, Thomas Hinds operates a fully licensed Sampling Room where guests can enjoy cigars or pipes with drinks and light snacks. The room features a ventilation system designed to maintain air quality, and reservations are available. The business also hosts events and shares information through resources such as its cigar and pipe guides. Its tobacconist store is located at 185 Carlton Street in Winnipeg.
