Thuishuys Natuurlijk is a small childcare centre in Kerkrade, the Netherlands, offering a warm, home-like setting for young children. With space for a maximum of twelve children, it provides care for at least two days per week and aims to give each child a second home where their individuality is recognised and supported. Its approach combines professional, attentive care with play and learning in surroundings furnished with natural materials.

The centre is located in Kerkrade West, near Heerlen and Landgraaf, with parking available at the entrance. Inside, children can use shared living and play areas, a kitchen and dining space, and a separate room with age-appropriate toys for older children. There is also a garden, and children can explore nearby parks and the botanical garden on outings. Outdoor sleeping is part of the centre’s usual routine, with dedicated outdoor beds. Activities include cooking, baking, discovering new flavours, and spending time in nature. Thuishuys Natuurlijk shares practical information and its pedagogical approach through its website and related documents.
